We are looking for someone to fill a brand-new role to design, deliver, coordinate, monitor and evaluate training activities that will help maximize our Customer Engagement Team’s performance. Sales Trainer/ Coach responsibilities include mentoring new team members, designing individual and team training courses and preparing educational material. To be successful in this role, you should have a good understanding of sales techniques and the ability to motivate employees of varying seniority. Ultimately, you will help our Customer Engagement Team develop their skills, achieve their targets and raise the performance of the overall team..
The Role:
● Act as a hands-on training consultant/mentor to CET & Sales teams and provide helpful advice on coping with job-related challenges
● Onboard and train new members of the team.
● Identify individual and team training needs and develop solutions to address these requirements.
● Develop educational and training solutions on a group and individual basis.
● Help to develop best practice within the team.
● Gather feedback on all training programmes from trainees and, managers.
● Maintain training records.
● Evaluate employees’ performance after each training.
● Monitor effectiveness of training through remote listening and side by side assessments to improve performance.
Key Result Areas:
● Work experience as a Sales Coach or Sales Trainer is essential for this role particularly within a Call Centre/Tele sales environment.
● Familiarity with role-playing activities and e-learning platforms.
● Hands-on experience creating presentations (e.g., videos or slides)
● Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate people
● Problem-solving skills.
