The Finance Assistant will have the important role in maintaining the ledgers for several Progressive Property companies. Knowledge of excel, google sheets and formulas is essential as this role will involve daily work with spreadsheets. Knowledge of Sage 50 Accounts is beneficial but not essential. A general knowledge of how to work with CRM systems would be preferred, but not essential.

● Maintain all company bank accounts in Sage 50 – fully reconciling
● Reconciliation of income streams to CRM system and Sage 50
● Processing purchase invoices for various companies onto Sage 50 Accounts system
● Ensure purchase invoices are posted to the correct nominals
● Manage the purchase ledger and advise of payments due
● Raise purchase orders for various teams in the company
● Enter payments onto our Barclays Internet Banking System for authorisation
● Liaise with suppliers and resolve disputes
● Credit card reconciliations
● Communicate effectively at all levels
● Assist with queries relating to submission of annual accounts to external accountants
● Assist the team where required with office admin and queries
● Ad hoc duties as delegated by Finance Manager
